Animal Senses Science Camp (Rising 4th-6th Graders)

How do some animals see so well in the dark? How do cat whiskers work? How does a bat use echolocation? Why do dogs have a great sense of smell? Join us as we answer these questions and even more as we explore Animal Senses! Campers will participate in activities to simulate special adaptations of animals and explore their own senses as well. The week will also include a trip to Bear Hollow in Athens! Please note that a signed waiver of liability and emergency contact form are required. Participants will need to bring their own lunch, water bottle and bug spray. You will also need to bring a swim suit, towel and sunscreen as we will go to the pool daily if weather permits.
